The challenge
The academy ran on a shared spreadsheet, a paper attendance book and several WhatsApp groups. Nobody knew reliably who had paid, classes were double-booked, and the owner spent most of Sunday reconciling the week by hand.

I modelled the real domain first — courses, terms, class occurrences, memberships and drop-ins — because getting that wrong is what makes booking systems collapse later. On top of it went a public schedule with live capacity, self-service enrolment with recurring payments, QR check-in for the door, and an admin side where the owner can see occupancy, revenue and outstanding payments without exporting anything. Automated reminders replaced the WhatsApp broadcasting entirely.
Administration collapsed from a full weekend day to a short check on Monday morning. Double bookings stopped, unpaid memberships became visible immediately, and the academy could finally see which classes were actually profitable.
A public timetable with real-time places left, waiting lists and cancellation windows.
Recurring subscriptions, class packs and single bookings under one payment flow.
Attendance taken at the door in seconds, feeding straight into occupancy reporting.
Revenue, occupancy per class and outstanding payments, without a single export.
